About Me
Hi, I'm Jisnu G M. I am a developer and an M.Eng Computer Science student at Oregon State University. I currently work as a Network Operations Student Lead at OSU's University IT department, where I help manage the networking and systems that keep the campus connected.
Earlier, I worked at Gpi Engineering as a Software Developer, where I contributed to TankDesign, their in-house engineering tool. My work there focused on improving the UI, building reusable components, and making workflows easier for engineering teams.
These days, I spend most of my time improving my skills in full-stack development, exploring new frameworks, and working on personal projects. I also maintain a self-hosted server where I set up and manage applications, try Docker workflows, and automate tasks.
Outside of tech, I like music and Formula 1. Hip-hop is what I listen to most, but I also enjoy indie, EDM, R&B, and soul. I have started following Formula 1 since 2023 and enjoy the mix of strategy, technology, and racing. When I am not listening to music, coding, or watching a race weekend, I am usually watching anime, keeping up with shows, or finding new movies to watch.

Music
I listen to music pretty much all the time. Whether I’m at home, cooking, studying, or working on something, there’s usually a playlist running in the background. It keeps me focused or just makes things feel a bit more alive. My taste leans toward hip-hop and R&B, but it changes depending on the mood or what I’m doing. I’ve used almost every major streaming service at this point, from YouTube Music to Apple Music and Tidal, but Spotify has been my main one since 2018. I’ve tried switching a few times, but it’s hard to move away from something that’s been part of my routine for so long.
Music taste is different for everyone, and that’s what makes it interesting. You can’t really make someone enjoy a genre if it doesn’t click with them. For me, it’s all about the mood. I’ll listen to almost anything except country. I don’t even know why, but I just can’t sit through it.
